CI jet fans are used in fire ventilation systems. They are intended for forced extraction of hot air, smoke and combustion gases generated during fire. Due to their design, air or smoke is exhausted as a jet forced at a specific flow rate in a specific direction. The design of the fans facilitates localised vertical aspiration of smoke, followed by horizontal forcing from the exhaust end. This facilitates smoke venting from confined spaces, including garage rooms, or precision smoke extraction from specific volumes of space.

This equipment is designed for indoor use.

  • a design dedicated for precision smoke extraction from specific areas and volumes of space by vertical aspiration with a horizontal exhaust of gases
  • a low overall height: max. 323 mm
  • rated for operation in fire zones (contained smoke areas)
  • available diameters: 500, 750, 1000 mm
  • draft force up to 100 N
  • rotation speed: max. 1500 rpm
  • nominal power: 0.3 kW to 2.4 kW

Making variants:

  • one-speed motors
  • two-speed motors
  • unidirectional

The standard CI jet fans feature mounting brackets on the casing. Each CI jet fan has a safety wire mesh on the suction side. The CI jet fans can be optionally equipped with fire-rated service switches.
